There is no fear in love

She twiddled her thumbs before pressing send – her phone message read-‘I am ready to start our new life.’ She looked back on her ugly past with its sticky tentacles. Will she be able to start anew? Will her body forgive her? Will her soul heal its wounds? She broke down, her hair a cascade, her head in her hands. Then she remembered his words.

‘I promise you, this is the last time you will ever cry…’No more sorrow, no more pain…’ and ‘no more questions.’

She knew then… there is no fear in love. She pressed send.

Very frightening imagery — her past having tentacles. Definitely not something I would want to go back to. It’s great that she’s able to find love, and hopefully healing too.
